I find that this place is very... odd. The fact that I can talk to humans at all... that they're willing to help me... is something I've never experienced before.

Ah, well... no, it's understandable, how they treat mice. We do take advantage of their resources... that's how a friend of mine would put it. We're 'pests', and we steal, even if it is to survive. That's just... how things are.
