I think there have been a lot of new humans arriving, though. So... it's a pleasure to meet you. My name is Mrs. Brisby. I... can't do much for anyone, but I suppose I... can always offer my company.

I don't suppose a mouse would. Mice don't speak where I'm from.

We don't usually speak to humans, no. The most I've gotten from a human is the end of the broom or whatever they wanted to through at me.

Well, humans might seem pretty strange when you first meet them, but as a whole, there a fairly decent bunch. I'd stay away from cats in wimples, if I were you, though. Actually... I think it's fair to say you should probably stay away from most cats, but you probably already knew that.

It's... been a very different experience. Normally all I see of a human is the broom or whatever they decide to throw at me.

...But not here. It's still very strange. There's so many things I don't know... ah hah, I thought it was bad when I barely understood my natural environment.

Of course nothing seems familiar here! Not all humans are the same, just as not all mice are the same. Although, I am pretty sure this is my first time meeting a talking mouse. Well... there was that one time on Oalania... But never mind that!

One can never know enough, is what I say! Just use every day to learn more, and eventually it will make sense! Hopefully.

...Although that's not always a theory that works, but I find that it does more often than not. Most of the time, in any case...
